If you are like me you cannot afford to buy coffee from Starbucks everyday, so if you want to drink coffee every day you are going to have to make it at home. (besides, in my opinion Starbucks is not any better than home brewed coffee.)
So when I moved into my new place and had to buy a coffee maker I did not want to spend anymore money than I had to. So I decided to buy the Black & Decker DCM600B coffeemaker on amazon as the price was right. I am very glad I made this purchase because this coffee is better than what I can buy at Starbucks at a fraction of the cost.
Making coffee is simple and fast and consists of simply pouring water in the water reservoir, putting ground coffee in the filter within the removable filter basket and pressing a button. The coffee that comes out is as good as coffee gets which is why in my opinion there is no need to spend more on a coffee maker unless you need to make more than 5 cups at once, or if you insist on using Keurig cups. In which case I would recommend the Cuisinart DCC-3200 14-Cup Glass Carafe for making lots of coffee or the Keurig K55 Single Serve Programmable K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker.
I look forward to the fresh, perfectly warm brewed coffee the Black & Decker DCM600B has been reliably serving ever since I purchased it.
I would also highly recommend the Medelco 4-Cup Permanent Basket Coffee Filter because it works perfectly and spending money on disposable filters is a waste of money, and a hassle.
